This reproduction print features bright blue velella vellelas. These curious creatures and commonly called "by-the-wind sailors." As their name suggests, these hydrozoans use a sail to catch ocean winds and currents. As a result, when they wash ashore, they do so in the thousands. Each card comes with an envelope and protective sleeve. Cards are printed on archival quality paper, and could be framed as a 5x7 fine art print, in addition to serving as a gift / greeting card.
